Ian Sinha
Ian is a Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital as well as a Professor within the Division of Child Health at the University of Liverpool, where he researches paediatric asthma and neonatal lung disease. He is particularly interested in the impact of social and health inequalities on children.
Having worked with the team at Claire House during his time at Alder Hey, he was keen to join the board of Trustees. He says; “Joining the board is a great opportunity to learn about hospice care first hand. I also hope to share my knowledge of working within in the NHS to ensure the two organisations can best serve the children who need us.”
Ian lives in Liverpool and enjoys playing the guitar, growing his own vegetables and supporting Middlesbrough Football Club.
