Today, on the 31st October, we are remembering Ellie Cook on her 15th birthday. Her family have chosen to Pay For a Day in her memory.
This is the second Pay For a Day this year that has been paid for with the proceeds from the 2017 Claire House Club Challenge, a fishing contest set up by Ellie’s dad Colin.
Last year the competition raised almost £17,000 and this Saturday, 108 anglers, including 12 ‘masters’ will be taking part in the 7th annual Claire House Club Challenge to raise even more money in memory of Ellie.
“There is a sparkling trophy up for grabs at the Claire House Club Challenge. And it’s all for a girl who loved her witches, ghouls and pumpkins as much as she loved all things pink, fluffy and full of glitter” said Ellie’s mum Linda.
Colin and Linda would like to thank every single person who has supported the Challenge and helped to make it such a success since it began in 2012.
