Today, Mowgli Street Food on Water Street in Liverpool are paying for a full day’s care at Claire House Children’s Hospice.
Since opening in mid-December last year they have raised £17,468 by adding a discretionary pound on to their customer’s food bill.
Founder of Mowgli Street Food and Claire House supporter Nisha Katona has also supported Claire House after writing a special Keralan Chili Chicken recipe for the Spring edition of the Claire House magazine.
Nick Blair, Business Development Coordinator, says: “The whole team at Mowgli Water Street are honoured to support such a special place like Claire House.
“Understanding charitable giving as a central pillar of building a business is key to the Mowgli ethos.
“We want outward facing staff who grow with a charitable sibling. We don’t just choose a charity, we work alongside them, we meet with them regularly and we get excited about the work they do.”
Claire House Children’s Hospice would like to thank the team at Mowgli for their fantastic fundraising and ongoing support.
