Claire House Children’s Hospice is delighted to have been selected to feature on the 2018 Children in Need Appeal Show.
Claire House has been incredibly lucky to feature on Children in Need three times in recent years; in 2011 with Elliot Wild’s story, in 2014 with Ellie Cook’s story and in 2016 with Abigail and Harrison Ledsham’s story.
To celebrate Children in Need, the staff and children at Claire House will be taking part in lots of fun activities throughout the day on Friday 16th November. Everyone at the hospice will be dressing up in their favourite pyjamas, there will be face painting and lots more activities taking place.
Children in Need has given grants to Claire House amounting to nearly £400,000 since 2001. It is this money, as well as other generous donations from the public that mean Claire House can continue to provide a lifeline for families.
The show goes out on BBC One on Friday 16th November at 7.30pm. Rob Beckett, is set to join Graham Norton, Tess Daly, Mel Giedroyc, Ade Adepitan, Rochelle and Marvin Humes in presenting the 2018 Appeal show.
