We’re looking for a confident volunteer to head up our team of volunteer service assistants. This would suit someone who LOVES data, organising and taking on a bit of extra responsibility.

As Volunteer Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for handling data, putting together call lists, assigning tasks, communicating with service assistants and recording information. All of this will help us to radically change how we do volunteer engagement at Claire House and improve the experience our wonderful volunteers have with us. It’s a real opportunity to showcase how important their contribution is to our charity!

You’ll be given a briefing for each task/project and will be in charge of communicating this to our team of volunteer service assistants and assigning call lists. You’ll provide ongoing support to them and once you’ve received the call information, you’ll be responsible for recording this onto our database and providing feedback to the Volunteer Services Team.

You’ll need to be a real people-person and know how to motivate a team, assign tasks and listen to concerns. Excellent IT skills and good communication skills are essential. We’re looking for someone who is confident working independent, able to use their own initiative and knows the importance of teamwork.

This role is remotely-based and can be done from the comfort of your own home. We imagine for this role to provide the best support possible, you’ll need to dedicate one day a week (as part of a long-term commitment) to ensure all the tasks are completed in a timely manner and volunteers feel well communicated with.

We’ll provide you with all the information and training you need as well as ongoing support.
