Enjoy meeting new people? Have a few spare hours you’d like to put to good use? We’re looking for friendly volunteers to join our lovely Fundraising Reception Team.

The Team is vital in providing smooth and organised administration in order to help raise as much funds as possible and give supporters a wonderful experience. Tasks will include greeting visitors, receiving donations, taking calls and completing administrative tasks. It’s perfect if you have admin/reception/customer service experience and are looking to donate your skills to a great cause.

Volunteering can help boost your confidence and wellbeing as well as make new friendships and you’ll be a vital part of ensure local families in your community receive the care they deserve.

We’re looking for volunteers who are friendly, confident and passionate about making a difference and giving outstanding customer service. You should be highly organised and able to adapt to changing circumstances. Volunteers should be great team players and confident using their own initiative. You’ll need to be reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.

IT tasks are an important part of this role, such as updating databases, sending emails and using spreadsheets. So, you’ll need to be comfortable using computers and be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

We provide extensive training and ongoing support, so it’s important volunteers are able to make a genuine commitment to this role. It also helps ensure you get the most from the opportunity too!

Time: Shifts are available

  • Wednesday PM – 1-5pm
  • Thursday PM – 1-5pm
  • Friday AM – 9am-1pm
