Do you enjoy working with children and young adults? Interested in a career in teaching or education? Want to make a difference in your local community?
We’re looking for enthusiastic, passionate and committed volunteers to join our team in a new and exciting role. Based in your local community, you’ll support our Fundraising Team by visiting schools to introduce Claire House to students and staff, delivering workshops, presenting assemblies and saying a huge thank you for their support.
This role is all about helping children and school staff to understand Claire House and demonstrating the impact their support has on local families. We’re looking for confident speakers who have a friendly and approachable nature. You’ll also need good communication and time management skills. There is a great opportunity for personal growth and development in this role.
This is the perfect role if you’re looking to gain experience, build your CV and/or develop new skills for a future career in education or working with children. The ideal candidate will be a trainee teacher or someone interested in working in schools.
You’ll receive full training (including bespoke guidance on how to work with each age range) and will be provided with all the resources you may need (including pen drives, presentations and even our mascot Claire Bear!). Travel expenses can be claimed and volunteers will receive ongoing support and supervision.
