Do you enjoy problem solving? Have good attention to detail? Want to help make a difference in your local community? Then become a Volunteer Community Fundraising Researcher.
In this role, you’ll help us to plan for the future of fundraising by mapping which nurseries and/or guiding groups there are in your local area. By assisting with research, you’ll help to give existing supporters a warm thank you and also enable us to reach out to new supporters and raise vital funds for the hospice.
Remotely-based and on an ad-hoc basis, this is the perfect opportunity if you’re looking for something flexible to fit around everything else you may have going on. You’ll need to use your own laptop/computer and use Google, Microsoft Excel and your own local knowledge. Regular supervision will be provided.
We’re looking for someone who is determined, motivated, able to work independently and use their own initiative. Good communication and IT skills are essential. Prospective volunteers should understand the difference this role can make in improving our supporters’ experience and influencing future fundraising plans.
