We are searching for an extra special Clinical Therapies Assistant who has experience, passion and pride when caring for babies, children, and young people. Clinical Therapies Assistant

Part time (30 hours)

Band 3 – 4 (depending on skills and qualifications)

Band 3 £21,730 – £23,177.  Band 4 £23,549 – £26,282

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Clinical Therapies Assistant to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in all Claire House settings: Wirral Hospice, Liverpool Day therapy unit and community to support the clinical therapy team to deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people who have complex, palliative or end of life care needs. This is an already established role within the Integrated Care service team.

We are looking for a candidate who has a range of experience and skills such as and not exclusive to: hydrotherapy, postural management, basic chest physiotherapy, sensory processing skills, knowledge base of equipment utilised for moving and handling or enabling Children and Young People to reach their potential.

Key skills for this job include experience of working with children with complex or palliative care needs, ability to work in a small team, ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, ability to network with external and internal professionals, flexible.

A full training package will be tailored to meet the individual.  We also offer clinical supervision to ensure you maintain your resilience in this role.
