Do you enjoy problem solving? Have good attention to detail? Want to help make a difference in your local community? Then become a Data Support Volunteer.
In this role, you’ll help us to plan for the future of fundraising by ensuring our data is up-to-date and we can give supporters the best experience possible.
You’ll be assigned a list of contacts to check and will use Google to find out whether a community group is still open/running. You’ll also assist with finding missing information e.g. address, phone number, email as well as ensuring we don’t duplicate our information.
Remotely-based and on an ad-hoc basis, this is the perfect opportunity if you’re looking for something flexible to fit around everything else you may have going on. All we ask is that you meet the deadline that is set and keep in touch with how you’re getting on. You’ll report to our Community Fundraising Team who will provide ongoing support.
You’ll need to use your own laptop/computer and be confident using IT (including Microsoft Excel). It’ll require some digging through information, so you’ll also need to be determined and enjoy working independently. Confidentiality is important as you’ll be trusted with supporter data.
So, if you’re motivated to make a difference and confident working with data, get in touch today!
Please note that this role is not hospice-based.
