Claire House are striving to reach every child and family that need our support. One of the ways we do this is to tell our local communities about all the things we do and the services we offer.
We have a team of staff and volunteers who have been specially trained to come out to groups, schools and events and can deliver anything from a 5 minute discussion, to a full presentation.
We understand that groups may want to hear different things about what we do to support local families at Claire House, so we can tailor talks to each group, depending on what they would like to hear about. Also, we love going out to our existing supporters to keep them up-to-date with news from the hospice.
New to the Speaker Service: School Workshops/ Assemblies/ Staff Talks
We have launched some exciting new projects, where our staff and volunteers can come and teach Makaton, raise awareness of sensory needs via games and bring along our mascot, Claire Bear. If you would like to know further details about these sessions, please note this in the speaker form.
Once you get in touch, we will arrange a speaker for you and ensure you have all the relevant details prior to the date requested.
Speakers are provided with materials for the talks and have access to projectors for presentations.
If you have any general queries regarding speakers and events, please contact Cora Shafto on: cora.shafto@clairehouse.org.uk
