The Mowgli Trust Dog Show returned to Claremont Farm on Sunday 7th July and an incredible £30,326 was raised for Claire House.
Organised by Mowgli founder Nisha Katona, over 4,000 people attended on the day with their four-legged friends and a day of eating, drinking and dog-love was had by all.
The dog show, hosted by Jonny Bongo and Adam Weighell, had 10 categories, from Best Sausage Catcher and Best Trick, to Fancy Dress and Mowgli Supreme Champion, which was won by Bruce the Lurcher.
Pickles the Dulux Dog, an Old English Sheepdog, was also onsite for everyone to meet!
Nisha Katona said: “To everyone that came on the day with your loved ones, both two and four legged – you made this happen. At Mowgli we exist to enrich lives in the communities that we feed and the amount raised could fund a specialist nurse at Claire House for a whole year, providing essential support to children and families. This has convinced me to bring the dog show back next year and hopefully every year after. Thank you everyone!”
