The Mowgli Trust Dog Show has got tails wagging!
Claire House Children’s Hospice children and staff and their four-legged friends are excited to announce the Mowgli Trust Dog Show in aid of the charity.
Mowgli Street Food based on Water Street, Liverpool, have been supporting Claire House over the past year, raising £65,000 with their £1 on the bill initiative. But staff wanted to come up with a fun way of raising more funds for the charity.
Nisha Katona, founder of Mowgli, said: “We are all about family at Mowgli, staff and diners alike and for many of us, pets are at the heart of our homes. At Mowgli we take our relationship with our adopted house charities very seriously, and my teams look to finding exciting ways to support their charity siblings.
“Like Mowgli herself, an idea started to nag me- how do we celebrate the Mowgli family, staff and clients, two legged and four and maximise what we can raise for Claire House Children’s Hospice at a time where they dearly need help. The hugely heart-warming answer was The Mowgli Trust Dog Show which will donate all its profits to the remarkable work of Claire House.”
Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full. The hospice helps families smile again when life couldn’t get any tougher.
Dan Halliday, Relationships Manager at Claire House said: “At the moment, Claire House are not reaching every child who desperately needs our help, so events like the Mowgli Trust Dog Show are fantastic in helping us to raise awareness of the work we do.
“We’re fortunate that both Mowgli and Claremont Farm are passionate supporters of ours, and so to have a collaborative event for families is going to be incredible. All of our children and staff are so excited for the first ever Mowgli Trust Dog Show- especially all of the dog lovers.”
