Remembering Louie

Today, on Saturday the 11th of August, we are remembering Louie Joseph Mark Adams on his 4th birthday. His mum Stacey, dad Steve and big sister Ruby have paid for a full day’s care at Claire House Children’s Hospice. They’d like to thank everyone who has supported their quizzes, raffles and curry nights, helping to raise over £6600.

Louie was born 5 weeks early, with Downs Syndrome. He was an amazing, beautiful boy, who people were drawn to. Once you’d met Louie, you would never forget him.

Louie defied doctors by walking much sooner than expected and talking too. When Louie was diagnosed with an extremely rare lung condition he went from being special, to ultra-special.

Louie sadly passed away when he was just two years old and came to rest in one of the Butterfly Suites at Claire House. Mum Stacey said ‘No words can thank Claire House for the support they have given and are still giving to our family’. Ruby loves spending time with other Claire House siblings. She says, ‘It makes me feel like I’m not alone’.

Everyone at Claire House would like to thank Louie’s family and send their best wishes on his birthday.
