Claire House to feature on Children in Need 2016

Claire House Children’s Hospice is delighted to have been selected to feature on the 2016 Children in Need Appeal Show.

Claire House has been incredibly lucky to feature on Children in Need twice in recent years; in 2011 with Elliot Wild’s story and in 2014 with Ellie Cook’s story.

To celebrate Children in Need, the staff and children at Claire House will be taking part in lots of fun activities throughout the day. Everyone at the hospice will be dressing up in their favourite pyjamas, there will be face painting, a scavenger hunt, baking and heaps more of activities taking place.

Children in Need has given grants to Claire House amounting to nearly £300,000 since 2001. It is this money, as well as other generous donations from the public that mean Claire House can continue to provide a lifeline for families.

The show goes out on BBC One on Friday 18th November at 7.30pm. The BBC Children in Need 2016 presenters are Tess Daly, Greg James, Graham Norton, Ade Adepitan, Rochelle and Marvin Humes.
